  • Acting as technology lead on the implementation of new applications and system upgrades
  • Coordinating and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including helping colleagues develop test plans
  • Working with internal teams and suppliers to schedule and deliver application maintenance and upgrades
  • Supporting system users and the wider Technology Services team on core applications
  • Analysing data requests and developing reports to support frontline services
  • Working closely with the Data team to support and develop the data warehouse
  • Monitoring application and server performance, identifying risks, and escalating issues where needed
  • Creating and maintaining clear technical documentation, processes, and procedures
  • Keeping up to date with new technologies and supplier development plans

What you’ll bring

  • Experience working with databases and reporting tools (e.g. SQL Server, SSRS) and analysing data to meet business needs
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, balancing project delivery with day‑to‑day operational support
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information effectively to non‑technical users
