Are you an experienced people leader with a passion for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? If you thrive in a fast‑paced planning and dispatch environment and enjoy supporting a diverse, field-based workforce - we’d love you to join us at NCHA.

About the role

We’re looking for a forward‑thinking and highly motivated Team Manager to lead our busy Work Planning & Organisational Support team within Property Services.

In this key operational role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our repairs and maintenance service runs like clockwork. You’ll oversee a dedicated team of work schedulers who ensure jobs are planned accurately, allocated efficiently and delivered with great customer focus. From supporting our in‑house trade teams to coordinating external contractors, you’ll help us maximise productivity and keep customers at the heart of everything we do.

You’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience managing a large work‑planning or dispatch team
  • A proven ability to deliver efficient, customer‑centred scheduling services
  • Confidence working in a fast‑moving environment and making decisions under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload
  • Knowledge of repairs or building services (helpful, but not essential!)

If you enjoy leading people, improving processes and making sure services run smoothly, this could be the role for you.

Working with us

This partially agile role is 35 hours per week, worked between our core hours of 8am–6pm, giving you the flexibility to balance work and life.

At NCHA, we’re proud to be an Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident Employer. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates and actively encourage colleagues from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, women, disabled applicants, and LGBT+ communities, who are currently under‑represented in managerial roles.

We’re Nottingham Community Housing Association, known to many as NCHA. We’ve been around since 1973, and we're really proud of that. We're more than just a housing association: we deliver care and support to people all over the East Midlands. Read our story to find out more about us.
