Key Responsibilities

  • Booking residents and visitors: Ensuring accurate records of who enters and leaves the building.
  • Logging incidents: Recording complaints, accidents, risks, and anti-social behaviour in line with policy.
  • Maintaining daily logs: Keeping detailed notes of events and handing over information effectively.
  • Conducting security checks: Monitoring fire alarms, emergency lighting, and extinguishers to keep the site safe.

About You

  • Compassionate and resilient: Able to support young people empathetically while staying calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills: Skilled at de-escalating conflicts and diffusing tense situations.
  • Comfortable with lone working: Confident in using initiative and maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy: Essential for logging, reporting, and ensuring safety compliance.

Working Hours

  • 37 hours per week across 4 shifts.
  • Night shifts: 21:45pm – 07:00am, including weekends and bank holidays.
