The Project
Southwell Road East is a registered care home for adults with mental health and learning disabilities, with complex and challenging needs. Southwell Road East is a step-down service for adults that have been discharged from long-term admissions in psychiatric units.
Our service and colleagues are committed to making a difference in the lives of transitioning adults through our drive for excellence and positive outcomes. As a team, we are reliable, resilient and empathetic in our service delivery and approach when providing person-centred support.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, dynamic support worker to make the step up into this newly-created role that will be taking responsibility for the quality of the support delivered on a daily basis. This will include:
One of the key aspects of the role will be observing your colleagues’ practice and providing feedback to support them to improve their delivery of PBS and management of risk.
The role is on a 24/7 shift rota basis, including weekends, nights, sleep-ins, bank holidays, although the emphasis will be on those times when service users need most support.
