Here at NCHA we have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our friendly and supportive Community Safety team as an Anti-Social Behaviour Investigator. 

 

We understand this role won't be the right one for many. But for you, it could just be the perfect fit. You will be working within a small team sharing a mixed case load dealing with instances of crime and anti-social behaviour perpetrated by tenants of the association. The role can be based around Nottingham, Edwinstowe and Mountsorrel and will be dealing with cases across the East Midlands. 

 

The role – What will it involve? 

As Anti-Social Behaviour Investigator, some of your key duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

  • Investigate reports of anti-social behaviours carried out by NCHA customers, including racial harassment and take follow-up action on breaches of tenancy, licence and lease agreements utilising an incremental approach focussed on challenging and changing unacceptable behaviours. 
  • Carry out all case management activities in line with NCHA’s ASB policy and procedure to ensure consistent, impartial and timely case management, fully utilising all available interventions and where appropriate in partnership with other agencies. 
  • Prepare possession and injunction cases for court, representing NCHA where applicable and serve documentation on customers where required. 
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with external stakeholders including the Police, Crime Reduction Panels, legal staff and other agencies.

What we require: 

  • The ability to demonstrate knowledge of safeguarding legislation and ability to assess and refer cases to safeguarding authorities. E
  • Extensive experience relating to the management of Anti-Social Behaviour cases and/or experience of working in a similar role; including partnership working, successful representation in court. 
  • A full driving licence is required for this role. 

 

Work Hours 

35 hours per week with some flexibility based on the demands of the service. We operate an agile working system where colleagues work from home or our offices across the region and will need to visit customers in their homes and attend multi agency meetings associated with their case load. 

All successful candidates will be required to take a work related test on the day of the interview.
