We’re seeking a passionate Communications and Engagement Officer to join our dynamic team and help us amplify our messages to colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.

 

Role Overview:

 

As Communications and Engagement Officer, you’ll support the delivery of NCHA’s Communications and Engagement strategy and business objectives. Your responsibilities will include assisting with internal and external communications using a variety of media, promotional activities, and administrative support.

 

Key Responsibilities:

As our Communications and Engagement Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the Communications and Engagement team in the delivery of internal and external communications, promotional activities and campaigns
  • Support wider business objectives through communication campaigns, engagement activities, and awards
  • Publish regular content on NCHA’s intranet and websites
  • Create engaging internal and external email newsletters, using email distribution software
  • Aid in the coordination and execution of colleague, customer and stakeholder events
  • Provide administrative support for stakeholder engagement activities
  • Assist with the maintenance and development the Communications and Engagement team photo library and archive Oversee the team’s equipment and merchandise needs, including ordering and stock administration

Working/Shift Patterns:

This role is full time, 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. Some out-of-hours work may be required to support events or urgent communications.

 

Ideal Candidate:

 

Our ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, bringing enthusiasm and dedication to the role. A valuable contributor to the work of the Communications and Engagement team, you will be able to adapt your approach to audience needs, effectively write copy and proof-read. You will have experience of using digital platforms, including CMS, intranet, newsletter and survey software, and working in an administration environment. Ideally, you will have relevant experience working in a communications role and qualified to NVQ Level 3, A Level or equivalent.
